Rods

Rods are divided into two classes, Standard and Modified, however they all race in the same heat.

The heats and final race are Non-contact.

Bangers

 

Any saloon, hatchback or estate car may be used, up to 1400cc. A chance to give that old rust bucket one final blaze of glory. Some last a season or more.

Big Bangers

Junior Minis

Banger racing for cars with a bit of muscle, These cars have engines above 1400cc providing endless thrills and spills as they battle it out for a trophy.

Standard  Minis up to 1000cc raced in non-contact competition by lads and lasses aged from 10 to 16. A great introduction to motor racing and driving in general,

Grass Stox

These cars are all built by Dougie Bray and are rear engine, based on the Ford Fiesta 1.1 engine and running gear.  But that is where any similarities end.
