Q         Why can’t we race all year round?

A      A couple of reasons really, firstly, being a grass field, used for grazing, it needs recovery time after we have finished our bit for the grass to grow back.

        Secondly, the field gets very waterlogged in the autumn and winter and this would cause major problems for drivers and  spectators using the site.

 

Q      Why doesn’t CRW tarmac the track?

A      This question and answer were placed on CRW Facebook pages earlier in the  year, but the bottom line is the site is primarily agricultural and CRW doesn’t  own it. This links to the first question above.

 

Q    Why cant we have Prize Money

A     CRW is a small organisation without sponsors and we race for fun. The field we use is rented and after all overheads   (advertising - rent- trophies - St.Johns - fuel - maintenance etc etc), there is little left.
